On July 22 we had a really fun baby shower hosted by Katie and Chris, and our friends Christy, Damon and Jessica. It was a lot of fun and great to see everyone all together. We got just about everything we could ever need or want for Owen, now all we need is the baby!!

A Day at the Park

A few weeks ago, I took Jack to the park to feed the swans and play on the playground! He had a great time! We saw a very interesting bird with a long, snake-like neck that could swim underwater for minutes at a time and then always come back up with a fish in it's mouth! Grandma told us it's called an Anhinga. Jack really enjoyed feeding the black swans and of course some squirells got in on the action too. Afterwards, I think he set a world record for swinging - almost an hour straight! We were both pooped by the time we left!
