Owen's first "real" bath! Now that his umbilical cord has fallen off and Owen is completely healed from his little "surgery" down below, we have started giving him baths in his little tub (why is it that everything baby related is "little"? LOL). He LOVES it! He really hated the sponge baths we gave him the first week and half because he would get cold, but he just calms right down when we put him in his tub and would probably sit in there forever just as content as could be!

Owen Christopher Marshall Bray
Our sweet little Owen was born on August 24th at 1:20 PM. He weighed 7 lbs., 5 oz., and was 20 inches long. Labor was short and sweet. I was induced 4 days after my due date and labored for about 5 and half hours. Chris and I studied the Bradley method of Natural Childbirth for months before Owen was born and I am very pleased to report that I was able to labor and deliver with no pain medication! It was awesome...I wish I could go back and relive that day. I am actually now considering becoming a Bradley Method teacher for couples interested in having a Natural Childbirth experience utilizing this method. Owen is such a sweet baby and a GOOD baby! He hardly ever cries, only during the occasional diaper change or when he wakes up hungry! He has already established somewhat of a sleep pattern for himself at night, usually waking around 1 and again at 4 to eat. Jack is loving being a big brother, he just adores Owen. I am working hard to make sure he knows he is still loved as much always and hopefully soon will be able to spend some time together just the two of us! Chris is settling into new Daddy-hood like a pro. It is so sweet to watch him with his newborn son, they just stare at each other and Owen even smiles at him! I am doing great, had a super easy recovery (thanks again to the NCB) and feel better than I have in months! I was a little worried before Owen was born that I would have a hard time loving him as much as I love Jack (I just didn't think that was possible!), but amazingly, it seems God has just doubled the amount of love I have to give and I cannot imagine my life without Owen now. He is such a blessing. I feel so honored to have the privelage of raising two sweet boys who will one day be great men! They are amazing!

A Day at the Park

A few weeks ago, I took Jack to the park to feed the swans and play on the playground! He had a great time! We saw a very interesting bird with a long, snake-like neck that could swim underwater for minutes at a time and then always come back up with a fish in it's mouth! Grandma told us it's called an Anhinga. Jack really enjoyed feeding the black swans and of course some squirells got in on the action too. Afterwards, I think he set a world record for swinging - almost an hour straight! We were both pooped by the time we left! Monday, July 16, 2007
My Bump!
As you can see, Owen is getting quite big! He moves and kicks all the time, I think he is trying to find a way out! According to the Doctor, he is about 5 lbs. and 18.5 inches right now. Jack is so excited about being a big brother and is so sweet...he is always kissing my belly and talking to Owen, telling him how much he loves his baby brother! I can't wait to see them together for the first time. I love my boys so much!!

Ultrasound Pictures of Owen
These are the baby pictures we have so far of Baby "O". Everyone thinks from his 4D profile shot that he looks like Jack! We can't wait to see him face to face next month - only 5 more weeks!

Hannah's 1st Birthday
I can't believe my precious niece Hannah is a year old! She celebrated the big day poolside at a birthday party given by her Mommy and Daddy. She had her very own "smash cake" and got lots of neat presents! Check out her bejeweled pacifier, compliments of her favorite Aunt Sissy!
